How to Apply for a PAN Card Online in Nepal
Getting a PAN (Permanent Account Number) card is an essential step for individuals and businesses in Nepal. Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to help you obtain your Personal or Business PAN card online.
Step 1: Visit the IRD Official Website
Go to the IRD Official Website. Click on the 'Taxpayer Portal' link or directly visit this page. If the site is slow, use Incognito mode or Mozilla Firefox.
Step 2: Register for PAN
Click 'Registration (PAN, VAT, Excise)' and select 'Application for Registration'. This applies to both Personal and Business PAN.
Step 3: Choose Your PAN Type
- Personal PAN: Select the Personal PAN option.
- Business PAN: Choose the Business PAN category based on your needs.
Step 4: Note Your Submission Number
After submission, a submission number is generated. Note it carefully and click 'Continue'.
Step 5: Fill in Detailed Form
Upload your photo and required documents. After completion, click 'Submit'.
Step 6: Print Your Application
Print your application and take it along with your original citizenship card and a photocopy to the tax office. You may also receive your PAN number via email.
